Default ho my gawd!!!!!! remap fitted!!

bl***dy hell, if you've got a 2ltr turbo then you must get the bsr ppc remap.!!
if you haven't got the money, then sell your kidney, you only need one anyway. do a boot sale, sell cookies, anything to get the money!!
    you'll be glad you did!!

fitted mine today and it flys!!

took the car up the bypass to give it a warm up, but coming back down the bypass i just couldn't wait

pulled over onto layby and remapped there and then

then went on a little joy joy joy ride!!!

just need a rolling road now to give it a fine tune

how much bhp would you expect to see???

As Mick said, expect around 205/210bhp. It basically gives +29bhp from standard, all depends on what your engine gives out as standard. Mine gives 183bhp as standard and 212bhp remapped.

Another option... Speak to Abbott Racing. They have a hybrid turbo, intercooler and a map for this engine on the trionic management systems

    Here ya go mate:

    Turbo - http://www.abbottracing.com/2003/tun...-3_upturbo.htm

    Filter - http://www.abbottracing.com/2003/tun...e/n9-3_itg.htm

    Custom Map - http://www.abbottracing.com/2003/tun...3_eng_mgnt.htm

Filter is for the Saab though, thought there was an intercooler, but that was for the 9-5.... Oops.

Normally with Abbott when i have bought off them in the past, they always do the remap at a discount if getting full fitting with them on the turbo etc

If you trade in your old turbo, get it fitted and everything with them it is just under a grand.

These guys seriously know there stuff. I had my 9-5 2.3 Turbo modified by them a while ago and it was frankly awesome.

As with any turbo upgrade I would always say get a remap to suit it no matter what anyone says. The characteristics of the engine totally change and need to be setup to suit.

As CDTi said, you have to get a remap. The original software will be written for the original turbo and the way it works. Change the turbo and you've got to change the software to match it - otherwise it will try and control it the same as the old turbo which won't be any use.
