Default 35w or 50/55w HiD conversion?

    Hi all,

In the proccess of ordering several kits for me and some mates at work.

When I converted my motor bike I used a 50w 6000k hid system, For those of you that have converted, what wattage kit did you use and why.

35w are the most popular and I wondered how good the light spread was etc with the pre facelift lights. Do you get many drivers flashing you etc.

I am only going to convert the dipped beam for now.

    Thanks

    Jon

I thought that if you convert the main beam you would not be able to flash because of the xenon striking time and possible damage.

Thats what I thought, there is a UK seller offering them with a 3 yr warranty and gauranteed not to trigger any ecu warnings etc.

    Will go for the 35w.

Here is the link for anyone who is interested.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:X:AAQ:GB:1123

    Only £49 as well

Something to do with how the electronics comunicate.

All new BMW bikes have a canbus system.... although they can be problematic at times.
