    Default Need advice on Lowering

Im looking to lower my LS but dont know the first thing about what I need to buy to do the job.

Is it just a case of swapping the springs or do I need to replace the shocks aswell?

best to get a full kit of shocks and springs, as a starter go for -30mm springs, any lower and you would at lest need to get sri shocks. following the 30mm drop get bilstein b4 shocks, better version of standard shocks and better than sri shocks if going upto -30mm. if you want lower then you will need to get b6 shocks. i have -45mm with sri shocks but these are standard otherwise i would of changed to b6 although i may still do in the near future

alot of members have eibach, seem to be the best rated on here. you could go with anything tho

EDIT: You can lower it as much as wou want but the shock will work best lowering up to -30mm, after that you will need shorter shocks, like on the sri or the b6 shocks

I would love to drop it more than 30mm but would be constantly worried about all the speedbumps where I live.

Just wondering.. can I fit eibach (30mm drop) springs onto my standard shocks for the time being till I have some spare cash for the b4 shocks or is this a bad idea?

Cheers and sorry for all the questions.

    Dave
