Default 2.2 dti vs 1.9 cdti

is there a massive amount of difference in speed/acceleration between these 2 engines?

what are tuning possibilities? i've seen the dti tuned to about 165bhp and the cdti 150 to 220bhp (but that was with uprated turbo and intercooler) would these be available for the 2.2?

is the 1.9 cdti worth the extra money?

    thanks tom

The 2.2dti will never acheive the BHP of the 1.9 150's (well maybe with loads of money). But then the 1.9 150 can be a very unreliable engine (que the people with them saying they have never had a problem).

2.2dti for a better reliablity record, 1.9 150 for power. imo of course
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

You can remap a 2.2dti, although i have no idea of what they are capable of,

I know of at least one company that is currently working on such a remap aswell as a remap for 3.2v6, and they should both be released fairly soon...
