I would do anything to get back across the border, but my trade doesn't have any postings in Scotland sadly so all my Army career will be based in England. This cuts the journey home to our family in half, I could travel home from Newcastle and back where as I'd still have 100 miles to get home travelling from down here

I worked on MLRS (the original one I think, am I that old eek!) when at Racal, we did a truck mounted test system for it. Wonder if its still alive?
