    confused Service Interval Indicator

I have noticed an odd thing with my service interval indicator. About 2 months ago, when I pressed the mileage reset, the service indicator reckoned on needing it's next service in about 3000 miles. I have since covered the 3000 miles, but now when I press the mileage reset, the indicator reckons 20,000 miles till the next service.

Either this is a fault, or my car has the ability to perform a 'self service' which didn't cost me a thing. Anyone else seen this, what should I do?

Did you reset it by accident?
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

How can I reset it accidentally? I assumed you need to plug it in to reset it.

Ah, that could explain it. Might have been a little over zealous/early when resetting the mileage after filling her up. Guess this means a call to the stealer and book her in then.

Pressing and holding the trip reset button for too long is not enough to re-set the service interval indicator. A combination of actions is required. This to me would indicate a fault I would have thought.

Keys out, press the trip button. The display will show you the miles to next service, if it's on ECOFlex schedule
