Default If it rains on Wed it's my fault!

Wednesday's weather forecast for mid Wales is "sunny intervals." Between intervals of what else I'm not quite sure

After spending a small fortune on Autoglym products (shampoo, polish & extra gloss) today I'm planning on spending Wednesday afternoon doing the car. Hence: if it hisses down you can all blame me!!

BTW: I bought Autoglym stuff after reading some advice on here. Looked at other recommendations but (a) can't readily get them and (b) can't readily afford them!! I used to use "Mer" on my Veccy B but there's no mention of it anywhere on the forum - that I can find anyway. Does anyone use Mer? If so... do you reckon it's a good/bad/indifferent product?

Should take you about 4 hours+ so start early!, I`m in South Wales, so it better not rain or I`ll be up to see you!

Autoglym make some good stuff bud. Their Super Resin Polish and Extra Gloss Protection is a great combination for looks and lasting protection.

Good luck with the clean and don't forget the pics when your finished!

Now I'm cream crackered - but JOY - the weather held out. Worth the effort. I can see now that it IS pearlescent & not just plain black! The old man did ask if I'd do his while I was at it. I can't post the reply as it would just come out as a load of ******

Next step is t'other halves & that's going to be a right pain in the nether regions. A "W" reg 1.4 Corsa Sport (that I rather cruelly call "The Shoe") & even worse it's RED. Before anyone has a go - I've got nothing against red cars - it's looks lovely when it's done but it does have a habit of blooming so the whole thing needs T cuttings. I'm hoping the Autoglym extra gloss protect stuff will help prevent the problem.

On another subject, My Siggie went in to VX for the rain sensor to be done yesterday & they gave me a brand new 1.2 Corsa as a (dis) courtesy car. I could've cut a hole in the floor & run faster a'la Fred Flintstone style! Engine power should have been measured in DNP - dead nag power. I'm quite a VX fan but that was a really nasty car.
