    Default My good deed...

Well while my mum is away in Brighton at that TUC conference my dad and me decided we would sort her car (51 plate VW Polo) out while shes away. So my dad got it washed and cleaned inside and I checked it over for its MOT and put its standard wheels back on. I took it for its MOT this morning and it went straight through (it didn't last year lol ). Recently the car has had no central locking and its been on a VW computer and no faults shown and was quoted above £200 to sort it out, so I did some searching found out where the pump lives and took it out and got some prices, ebay second hand was £71.00, VW trade price is £167+VAT so I plumbed it all back in and I got it working costing a massive £0.00

    I'm good lol

Air powered CL has been around for 20 years +.

The old ones could be fooled with half a tennis ball put over the key aperture and then struck - the resulting air pressure could pop the locks open. Hopefully this issue has been cured long ago.

Lol! I remember helping someone out when they locked their keys in their Golf a few years ago doing that!
