    Default Happy Campers 4 TRAX

I would just like to say how enjoyable the camp was.many thanks to dean for being camp supplyer........without his new large Gazibo...it would have been a tad harder to be keep dry and do the cooking .......
Was very nice meeting the (meet) regulars Stevel(mr detailer) and Collette(first time ive really chatted to her....wonderful woman } and son..............Ditchp....Rich(official meet sticker sticker on er) and young family..........they both arrived friday and set up camp and were the welcoming committee........JayKay(one of the 3 AMIGOES) was suppose to meet us at the M40 services, but some how missed us (DOH)....Next to arrive was Colalowe.... Colin and his better half Esther(nice young couple),their first meet and hopefully not their last...Colin now has a wish list as long as his arm after seeing our cars at TRAX...Baz07 Barry(cheery chap) was next....he must of been smiling all the way down from Manchester as he had just swopped his alloys that very morning (great deal)...BTW must add all hands to the deck and helping all newcomers erect their tents...I believe Smokeydiesel Dave and his mate were next again think it was possibly their first meet ...didn,t take to long for thise to likable chaps to mix in ...
Next goes the award for the furthest travellers Neverlandandy and his mate ...they travelled all the way down from Lanark Scotland...this imediatley stopped Rich saying he was a hard northerner lol ...Andy has a few health issues which stops him from camping,so he had booked into a B&B not to far away........Finally just as it was getting Dark we heard cars approaching the camp area from 2 different routes and it was Chris gettings and Nutron(Karl) arriving...their tent was hastally erected then they dissappeared off to the.. Pub .........unfortunately the weather was not the best.(tipped it down 3am saturdaynight)...........but monday morning when us 3 AMIGOES left it was ACTUALLY SUNNY HOORAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY......will post some pictures later ..........once again thanks to you all for making it enjoyable...

I'd like to add a thank you to Soulman for getting us sorted out for that site again. Nice and peaceful also for supplying some grub and doing the cooking.

Was nice to meet the original crew and the new people which went camping, Baz07 (nice chap, almost as laid back as JayKay) DitchP and crew Stevel and Collete (very nice person, first time i've spoken to her)... Colin aka Dave aka Steve according to some persons and his partner Esther nice young couple as per what Ian said. Andy (Neverlandandy) all the way from the netherlands according to me lol was a nice guy, a scot i could actually understand unlike one of our short personages we have on here hee hee..

I'm glad Nutron made the effort and get out there and come to the campsite with his other half Chrisgettings and his partner Terriann.

    Had an excellent time

1st run out for my new camping equipment although a few items need upgrading or buying (thanks to Stevel for the loan of the larger frying pan also for a pair of welly boots too).

Had an excellent time camping and chilling out. that extra day makes the difference for me and i was quite peeved that we've got no more events for camping until next year until i remembered Sir Drinkys little camping weekend if thats still going head...

Bring on the next event we need to camp at i say!!

and oh ps... some photos were taken and will be posted up from the last day of camping... didnt take any from saturday though apart from one.

Can't add much to that. We had a brilliant, brilliant weekend. The Campsite was a real find and the company was top notch.

Thanks to Ian for organising the site and to Rich for helping us put up Thunderbird Two in the dark and ****ing down rain.

Got loads of pics so will put some up later. Think there is even one of a Silver Lightening El Sport.
