I remember this been tricky. You have to drop the headlining and you will see a nut (quite big), from memory though i think the coax disconnects further down the line by a special plug. The aerial will come loose but as i have said the coax is a dog to loosen.

Have a look and a play and you'll see what i mean. Can't remember exactly but something complicated it for me.

This PDF shows the aerial removal. As Paul said, you'll need to drop the headlining. I would've included the bit for that, but all TIS had was stuff relating to the front headlining/lamp/storage area - which was fairly serious stuff!! lol

I'm sure the rear headlining on the Signum just pulls down, but I've never done it myself!

Had time to recharge my memory on this one now. On mine the coax going in to the aerial base was fixed and couldn't be removed. If you trace the coax away from the aerial base by about 20 inches or so you will come across a jointing block. This is where the aerial can be disconnected from the main coax feed to the front of the car. It is a pressure type release to unplug it from the main feed. If i remember correctly the coax from the base to this joint is thinner than from the joint to the front of the car.

    Hope this helps,

    Paul.

P.S. I'm gonna start calling Duncan 'pdf'!!!

Joking aside, he's a great help with them.

Never really been a fan of shark fins, based on seeing them on Beemers. Difficult to judge without seeing it on a Vec!
