you will probs find alot of mixed opinions on this......

for me its a no no,

tried it in corsa diesel not impressed one little bit (lack of power, extra smoke, lumpy drive)

theres alot of horror stories about it on the net

with the dti's very expensive and tempermental fuel pump its a BIG NO from me....

but the next person to comment may say its the best thing ever created

but with a lethal combinations of chemicals going through your engine i couldnt reccommend it

    HTH

Forgive me if i am wrong, but is it not putting, along with a few other chemicals, Vegetable oil in your car?

Its a mix of recycled oil and normal diesel. Personally I wouldn't touch it.

you will find that standard road diesel conforming to EN590 may contain up to 5% bio anyway, as long as that bio conforms to the relevant spec (can't remember the number just now), also the bio content WILL increase over the next few years.

Sorry to be blunt, but those who say they wouldn't touch it don't know what they are on about.

What concentration is the bio you have been offered?

For modern day diesels a high percentage bio fuel is a no no,fuel systems and filters cant handle it but on the older style diesels you can go upto higher

No I dont, however, I wouldn't put it in unless I had too, its not approved by VX so it won't be going in. Ask MTC what happened when a few of them filled up with the rubbish in germany.........

I used it when i had my Nissan Navara, first tank full was great, second tank lasted 2 miles then i started to blow white smoke like never before, lost all power aswell, got it to my local mechanic, who replaced the filter and it was ok for about another few miles and clogged up yet again, i got my motor to the bio diesel place who didnt want to know, showed me some ridiculously tiny, small print stating it is NOT to be used on any vehicle with engine management systems........ only vehicle that will work efficiantly with it, is old landrovers

had to replace my filter 3 times and keep topping up with super diesel to get it running right, then the injectors packed up

    ill never touch it again
