Default Sills & Rear apron sprayed and fitted - Pics

Ive spent this weekend hiding in the garage spraying the sills and rear apron. The lacquer was nice and dry this morning so fitted them back on with a new grille and clear side repeaters.

The paint, thinners, lacquer, hardener and sandpaper etc cost me around £50, but Ive still got plenty left over for when I get a front and rear spoiler.

Spray them. I think chrome only really suits darker cars

HUGE difference i am in the same boat as you with standard ls? first thing was the clear repeaters and debadged sides.

my grill and irmi badge arrived last week along with springs(45mm) might be to low for new driveway) ...I so need to get on the case of getting bits painted now

    Nice one!

    Chris.

All the best with the painting m8!

I bought a cheep compresser from Costco's and a couple of spray guns, hoses etc from my local paint supply shop about 5 years ago. It cost somewhere between £200-300 but worth every penny and has saved me a fortune.
