remote unlocking

not sure if this is supposed to happen
when you press the button to open the car the rear number plate lights come on
is this right or have i missed something in the handbook

Nope its supposed to do that. Shows the boot is also unlocked.

On my 1.8 late 2002 C as well as the number plate light coming on all the instrument lights and the iterior light comes on as well.

In my old facelift Signum Elite the instrument lights were always on regardless of time or whatever the headlihgts were doing - heard of one woman who complained that she was always forgetting to turn her headlights on in the dark...

Maybe she shouldn't have been driving at all......

my 05 veccy does it when i unlock the car! also any one discovered the "door to door lighting" if you open the door with ign off then flash your headlights it brings your headlights,no plate lights and reverse lights on designed to light the way for i think is 30 seconds on dark driveways,car parks etc! ithought somethin had gone wrong wen i discovrerd it?
