    Default Parking sensors

I managed to get the bumper off in between showers to drill the holes and mount the sensors. The guy next door helped out which was handy. I fed the wires through the gromet on the left and into the cubby hole. Too wet to finish it off tonight but the fit and the colour match seem promising. Pics will come tomorrow if it ever stops raining.

All wired in, very easy but forgot the camera. When you come out of reverse the buzzer dies down like a capacitor is discharging.

I bought the meta targa system which is the number plate fitting version, a couple of years ago , had it on my omega for that time and just recently fitted it to the Veccy and always works a treat, wouldn't be without it and better still it's easy to fit and no holes to drill in bumper!!
Halfords doing reduced price on this system @ £49.99
    Cheers Pete

Just purchased a set for £17.00 of flee bay, they were in dark blue.
Now the sad part of the tale
I put a line of masking tape along the rear valance care fully measuring the spacing ,thought ok thats it drilled the first hole with the cutter supplied then....
found I had drilled straight into the number plate light ,had I have been 20 mm to the left I would have been ok,i now have a rubber blanking plug in the "extra" hole until I decide what to do about it.

As for the sensors only wish i had got them sooner.

Nope - mine were already on the car when I bought it - front and rear factory fit I'd assume as it was just over a year old then. When I come out of reverse the cut-off is immediate. Mine is an auto though, don't know it that makes a difference.
