2.2 Remap

hi all, this place http://www.auto-tune.co.uk/index.html reakons they can remap my 2.2 from 147bhp to 161. just wondering if this would actually be worth it. would i notice and difference from 14 extra bhp? also i have a k&n panel with the airbox mod so would it maybe go up more with a remap?

You would notice the difference, it would pull a lot better as the remap would also remove the flat spots.

Hi Jaxouk,

Never had a remap done on a Veccy, but I CAN tell you that you will notice 14 bhp more.

More importantly, you will find it will really iron-out any flat spots in the rev range, make it rev more freely, and generally feel more responsive.

I have NEVER had a remap done, that I didnt like...

cool thanks everybody, think i`ll save up a few quid and get it done. i read on here before that it wasn`t worth remaping a non turbo car, but 161bhp sounds better than 147. and maybe with the k&n and airbox mod it might go to a tad more, maybe 165? + it`ll give me the edge over other veccys. what is a reasonable price for the remap?
