I must be talking out of my ar$e because I think the veccy handles like lump of mud. I've driven SRi's and they are good, but the Design and Elite's I've had are, quite frankly, crap. Yes, they are comfortable to cruise in, but in terms of handling in it's true sense they are rubbish

Ha, ha, Well that may well be true, but the only Veccy i've driven is mine, which is the SXi, which as I understand it, has the improved SRi suspension set-up, so I can only comment on that...

Yeah that'll do it nicely. Standard suspension is like a wet sponge

If you think they handle well as standard, slam one on the floor with coilovers and 18's... They are pretty damn good!!!

I've only had mine a week (sri 150 cdti) and on the whole it seems to handle quite well for a barge. i really did expect it to be a lot worse coming from a clio 172. Very impressed with it

totally... and don't mention the seats... I nearly fell out of the seat cornering hard on a 1.8vvt Life hire car once lol! can't beat the figure hugging, bucket style SRi seats in my opinion

you havnt tried a vectra b then? all models i have owned had a tendancy for the rear end to slide out due to lift off understeer (i think) yet when i had an omega 3.0 you had to realy try to get the rear end to slide out, normaly you were sat in the centre consol (leather seats) and the car still had not slid out, just gripped (michelins),one of the best cars i have ever owned,im on my second c (first sri, second design with standard lowered suspension and 18"wheels) and i have to admit neither have even tried to slide out, mind you my currant vectra has 225 tyres on it
