the name on the shirt fools nobody, sure last season it was smith on his back till he decided he was earning too much money and decided to try and sell him. `im sure kk would have been embarressed at the thought, i know i would. imagine being in work and your boss had your name on his back but trusts you to do nothing.

im looking for a new club to support (till mike ashley leaves) any ideas....man city LOL

im not from newcastle myself (N. Ireland) but i support them (football here is below par) and try to get over a few times a year. couldn`t see him going to forest. he only came back into football management because it was newcastle. tbh i don`t think man utd, liverpool, or arsenal would have been enough for him to come back in management. owen will be nex through the exit door.

all true but to be honest Keegan has no spin i think theres a bit of both here i think keegan walked more than he was sacked. and he would have done a runner at the first sign of a problem anyway.

    thats keegan.

NUFC is on a parallel with Westminster, successive idiots in the house running the show, I've always liked the club myself, not that I think of it as a *big* club in the sense of like Man Utd or Real Madrid, but a good old family club where the followers live nearby and have passion.

As for KK, well I love him too but he is a dinosaur in todays footy world, if everyone played the KK game footy would be entertaining for 90 mins every week, but sadly the boring have took it over and you must be tactically tight at the cost of the crowds entertainment these days, and the KK way always gets beat by the offside patient counter attack, BUT, having said that, right now whats happening at NUFC isn't KK's fault, he has a team of high earning underachievers with the exception of a couple all signed by someone else.

For a long time I felt Alan Shearer kept them afloat with his boot to ball ball to net skill, but he's finished and Owen isn't physically in his league tbh, I feel Michael will never be what he was due to a couple of bad injuries, anyway I think you will survive this season, but expect a negative minded manager next who will play it tight until he can assemble his own team and attempt to give you the flowing fast game you Geordies like to see.
