Default What can you do to tune a 2.2 DTI SRi

I have read as much as i can but there seems to be no definitive answer

I have a 03 2.2 DTi SRI. Is there any for of tuning you can do without loosing fuel consumption.... I know you cant fit a caterman, and havent heard of any good remaps for this engine.

    Anything else?

EDS agents ( like regal, and midpoint garage) can remap it for you easily..the only tuning box that works with it thats readily avaliable is the VP44 from 'dieseltuner'..

neither will really give you the same power as a boxed CDTi, but you WILL notice the difference...

other things that help no end are a good sports air filter, a free'r flowing exhaust and a decat section..

couple it all up and it'll be a darn sight quicker.... BUT.. as the power is increased, maintaining the MPG might get a little difficult...

I was thinking that, but does that not significantly reduce MPG?

the filter won't significantly reduce the MPG.. if anything helping it breath more easily will aid your MPG..

the map will set you back around £500... call Midpoint garage or Regals for an accurate price..
