Question 2.0 DTI Water Temperature? Running cool?

Am curious as to how the temperature should normally be on the 2.0 dti. Mine takes around 15-20 miles to come up to the mid 80s. Rarely gets warmer than that on cooler days. On warmer days I does come up to slightly over 90* but only on a long fast run, and the temp drops off as soon as I slow down. Sound like a shot thermostat or normal? Fans don't seem to come on very often. In normal driving in the 60mph range it fluctuates around 80-85ish.

Also I had some quotes for a new thermostat, and they've all being around 50 quid and higher, citing the thermostat is part of a housing. Is this correct?

    Its a 54 plate 2.0 DTI.

    Thanks in Advance

Same here, mine is up to 80 after about 4 miles, then sits at 80-85 unless I'm stuck in traffic for ages
