rattling noise

I`ve got a ratling/bumping/knocking type of cound when i`m taking off (just when i on the biting point) it not there when im driving just when i`m stationary and start to move. sounds like its coming from the drivers side front wheel area. any ideas what it could be?

what is the drop link mate? i`m not very knowledgable about the mechanics of cars. it sounds like somethings loose, was thinkin of gettin underneath it with the adjustable spanner and trying to tighten everything i see

it's a suspension component mate. the drop link fits between suspension leg and anti-roll bar. they aren't usually very expensive.

to be honest i'd run the car into somewhere like national and get them to determine what the problem is. 99.9% of the time they'll check it over for free and tell you what the problem is. then it's just a case of DIYing it or phoning around for the best quote to get it sorted
