Not got a price book but although yours has got a bit more mileage it's a more sellable car being diesel with that engine- would be inclined to start at yours +£500 then settle at £1k max imo- but new 1 does look awesome! Good luck

Difference in list price is about £1500 in favour of your diesel and your diesel holds it's value better. The difference in mileage between the two and the snowflakes don't go near offsetting that. If they were talking about a straight swap then yes.
Also the 2.0T is much more fun but compared to yours it's real thirsty.
I notice it's called a BTTC 2.0T. looks more like an SRI XP to me. The BTTC one had an increase in power to 185bhp and a partially non-colour-coded BTTC-lookalike front bumper and I'm not sure it was available in Star Silver, and was a very limited edition.
If you like what you have, keep it, unless you really want a petrol turbo.
yours is worth more but if you want fun then go for it.
Difficult one there Mike, especially going on what the other guys have said. To be honest, it looks exactly the same as yours and as John said, it had a different front bumper and power output. I've just been googling and can't even find a BTCC Edition model so dealer could be pulling a fast one.
I'd agree with what the others have said though and get yours remapped so you've got the best of both worlds; performance and economy. But if you really want that one then it's a straight swap!

Thats what i thought.I would get a remap and i know a vx dealer in southampton that does it just waitin to see about the price and warranty.But for what i would spend getting twin exhausts and other pieces il end up spending 2k anyway also with this new job il be getting bus or tube so wont use it as much as now.
The front bumper looks like mine (XP II) but I think they only appeared on a 57 plate onwards. VXR Steering wheel and gear knob were not on the XP I so it ain't that either. The BTTC one I've seen have the yukky plastic bits under the headlights.
Mines a diesel but I'd have gone for a 2.0T if I wasn't doing 60 miles a day to work and back.
Thats the only thing and this new job is not rock solid so might stick a deposit down and wait a bit
