    Default De-cat pipe for 2.2? (z22se)

    Sraight forward one this, does any one do it & if yes where can I get it from?

    If not - does anyone do a sports cat?

    hi
    dont know where to get one but you cant de-cat or it will fail the mot
    you can only sports cat m8

    The problem is the cat is built into the manifold,the only off the shelf sports cat i've seen is the Lexmaul one for 700 quid,this does include a 4 branch manifold though.

    You can get a dblias manifold from regal or german ebay, about £300, then you would need a custom downpipe and sports cat. Vid has this set up on his car. You might be able to fit a manifold from the vec b or astra 2.2 then just add a sports cat?

    Or if you do really want to de-cat it you'll still need a sports cat to put in place for MOT time than remove it again. TBH the gains from a de-cat aren't much.
