Got back late last night from the Czech republic where we were at a wedding, just thought I'd pop a few pictures up for you to enjoy!
The village we stayed in is called Vranov Nad Dyji, Nearest big town, Znojmo.
First of all though, we were in an old converted Chateau style Hotel, due to an admin blunder, there was one less room booked than needed, so we ended up in the roof where the old servants quaters were.
Looking from the front door.....
And looking from the foot of the bed back to the door.....
You see the problem, now I'm not exactly a short person, After drinking myself beautifull and back again, I managed to pinball every wall and clatter my head off of every beam, I retired to bed with mild concussion....
Oposite the Hotel, there was an old Castley type Chateau building on the top of the valley.
Which we walked up to the next morning with a raging hangover!
Looking from the viewpoint, you can see into the valley, the Hotel is the cream building in the middle.
Fantastic place! Great food, Superb beer... 16 of us ate and drank the place dry all for £230... Just can't go wrong.
Highly recommended as an alternative to mainstream Prague, where you pay £16 for three beers.
