Default My styling plans - curious on opinions

After getting my visible exhausts and new skirt, I'm planning a few subtle styling mods.

I want to get the facelift rear skirt as shown here....

Difference to the one I have now is that only the centre section is black plastic, the rest is primed for painting.

I'm also after some different side skirts. Mine are the black ones but I want them painted. I'd rather get primed skirts (as opposed to paint my plastic ones) as the finish will be so much better on the already primed ones (I believe).

    I've looked at two options....

Side skirts from a Vectra VXR estate - I've been told these are the same length as a Signum and will fit. Couldn't find a side view of the VXR Estate and I did some searching! If anyone has/finds a side view I'd be grateful.

or the side skirts from the facelift Signum.

Not a great pic but they are colour coded in those pics.

I kinda like the VXR ones but not sure if they'll look out of place as I won't have the VXR front or back bumpers to match. Signum ones are not as 'sporty' but will fit in to the front and back.

In either case, the front bumper lip will remain the same i.e. standard SRi style bumper with the rubber lip. I'm not going to add any splitter etc as I know it'll get damaged/ripped off with the car being lowered 30mm. The rubber lips scrapes in places as it is.

So, I'm curious on opinions - VXR side skirts or Signum side skirts! I already have a veering towards one of them, but I won't say which one yet!

VXR - would just be that bit different. Not too OTT so I would think they would blend in well on yours. Would be even more subtle than they appear on the VXR pic as your car is such a classy colour

That's true - good point. That was one of my 'concerns', that they may look a bit OTT, but that lighter colour accentuates them more so they'd probably look better darker.

I noticed on the steinmetz site the estate and signum skirts are the same part number so you are right there ... the VXr`s look best to me, but then the steinmetz look even better in my opinion, not so square looking ...

Do you have prices on the Steinmetz ones Tommy? I can get the VX ones at a very good price so the Steinmetz ones may be a bit silly money?

Don't think it'll be the Steinmetz ones. Just looked at the site and TBH they don't look a million miles away from the VXR ones? The price is a factor too. I've got some possible plans for some serious performance mods so want to do this one as economically as possible. Once I add on painting to the Steinmetz ones it starts to become on the pricey side. I can get the Vx ones for a price that I'm very happy with!

Looking at the Steinmetz front splitter, there's no way I could have that on my (lowered) car - I'd rip it off in no time!!

Has anyone got/come across a good side view of a VXR estate? I may have to wait for In a States to get his new car to get a proper pic!
