    Default camping north or south

I have just booked the 25 -28 of september off work to go camping but not sure where to head off to either south west coast or up north of the boarder loch ness area.

I have never been to scotland so this would be a new for me this making it my first choice.

    Any feedback welcome.

Ironically, we leave for a week in Inverness on Thursday, though we are breaking the trip up and extending it a wee bit this time, 1 night in the lakes and another in Edinburgh on the way up. I usually do it in one run but thought we would take our time on this occasion.

This is our 4th time to this caravan site... dirt cheap too off Ebay, though it costs me much more to get there, well it will this time.
Its located just over the bridge on the Black Isle, alongside the firth.
Really nice location, the whole area is very scenic located right at the top of Lochness. We usually do a fair bit of driving when up here, ie. runs down to Fort William, Isle of Sky etc. and sometimes right to the top. Lovely drive down alongside the lochs down the Calidonian canal. Its been a little while since we came up, as we now holiday a lot in our own holiday gite which we bought last year. We tend to have quite a lot of holidays, your a long time dead matey... enjoy the time you have left.
Its a fantastic area especially if your blessed with some decent weather.

What midges? weve never had any issues with midges when on caravan sites, not going to be much different for campers. stop winding the man up....lol
