    Default Side Repeater Colouring

What is the best way to spray my side repeaters to make them smoked/black to match closer to the colour of my car.

I have seen the ones on ebay and guys on here tell me to steer clear of them. LMF say they can only get clear and crystal, so looks like I will have a stab myself.

Any advice and material lists will be much appreciated

    Cheers

I'd be interested as well, as I've heard conflicting things about smoking them. I'd like smoked as well on my dark car so that the whites don't stick out so much.

Thanks RBK, although I'm guessing that only really works with light/silver colours? If I did that with Ultra Blue it probably wouldn't show through?

I, personally, just want them smoked/darkened a bit so if anyone has actually done this successfully......

I am in the same boat as Duncan, I want mine to closer match my Black Sapphire car.

Can you buy lacquer from Halfords then, and I assume you painted them on the outside

Look painted on the outside to me Damian. I'm just curious to know if it would work with a dark colour like ours, or whether the light would be blocked out!

I smoked my repeaters...look quite good, not total blackout, but not far off...pics soon if you can wait...

Had same thoughts as Duncan, thought painting might totally block light...

If all you're doing is the repeaters, I'd have thought a Vx paint stick matching your paint code would be enough to cover them? Mix it in with a bit of lacquer like RBK and it should deffo be enough?
