AM reception

HI all, does anyone know why my cdr 2005 has such terible reception on am stations? its fine when sitting stationary but once i start moving it gets really bad and the faster i go the worse it gets??? its pi$$ing me of a little bit now that the football season has started and i would listen to 909 if not in the house?

thanks mate, reading that it seems a common problem with a lot of probabilities as to what it could be. i`llmaybe check the connections and see if i have a loose one.
