Default anyone made a train board ?

    Hi,

finally packed my lads scalextric away, now he wants his train set out! the problem I find with it is with it being on a carpeted floor the track keeps coming apart, now i could just pinch it up with plyers but i thought i might make a board & tack the track to it...
was thinking of getting 25mm MDF with say 10mm tacks ? B&Q do 2 cuts free so the size I would ask for would match the train map. also though I could glue the map to the board ? any ideas ?

    Default

get some 6mm mdf or ply mate, then just stick the track down, works out cheaper and wont be as awkward to move about
use double sided carpet tape, sticks like sh!t to a blanket or even a hot glue gun if you have one
