    If you get an induction kit it's best to get an enclosed one as this will ensure cold aire being sucked in, but panel filters are by far cheaper and performance wise there's no great difference

    just read somewere on here that a panel filter gets rid off the flatspots!

    I believe the flat spot is actually mapped in as its the most efficient fuel air setting mixture to coincide at/with the most commonly active rev range if you get my drift? Although cam profiles will come into play as well.

    Just fitted a k&n panel filter to mine and was amazed at how much quicker the revs picked up i have a 2.0dti .definetely worth doing imho

    if you do go for induction kit i get this made for less than £100 all in so do remember shoppping around will pay the pipe work cost me less than £50 and the viper was about £35

    Ive got an induction kit on mine, makes a good difference. Not massively noticeable but revs more freely. just remember to reset the ecu when its fitted
