    Default Perishing Kids...

Couple of weeks ago I bought a new set of Ripspeed valve caps (So far my only upgrade!) and this morning noticed some kids had nicked them. So I bought a new set and thread locked them on in a bit of a temper. Apparently they will come off with, and I quote from the manufacturer, 'moderate force'. Not sure I've thought this through...Be fun to watch the kids trying to remove em tho!

Just remember to keep some pliers or similar in the boot, just incase your out and need to get some air in! Guess its only when you go to take them off that you find exactly how much "Moderate Force" is needed

kids are great at doing things like that, when i had my mondeo caught one little **** nicking my valve caps, told him I was going to call police as he ran of which I didn't , about 20min later got a knock on the door it was the kids farther he had driven past and saw his kid running from me, thought at first I had done some thing to him which I hadn't but when he found out what the kid had done he brought him round to my house made him apologize and for the next 4 weeks wash my car.

I bought some nice Irmscher ones and they got nicked. Just waiting to find a bike now with the " i " logo on its dust caps. I'm sure the thieves don't relise the brand they've nicked. I'll find them lol.

The wife loves kids especially the younger ones, personally I hate to say this but I've found that I seem to be more intolerable of children as I have got older, I certainly used to like kids when I was younger, after all we raised 3 of our own (now older than many of you) I find that I have to work at it, even with our own grandchildren. We are having the one granchild this weekend and I'm not looking forward to it at all, but the wife is!. Perhaps this is why we are called sad miserable old gits.. LOL

I think its because l like peace and quiet in older age, luckily we dont see too many children where we live, we own the private road that leads to the property so its pretty quiet anyway. (which is why we bought it)
