    Default Bargain Vx Pads

Just bought a set of front brake pads for my wife's Signum from www.carpartsconnexion.com . Genuine Vx part, standard price is £75ish, TC price is £55, got them for £23 including delivery by DHL. Sorted.

LOL - you can get a full brake kit ( 2 disks 4 pads ) for £65 , even less if your trade club . gen parts as well.

    Sales tactics - add 50% , then double it , then subtract 10 % - bargain .... not.

I've heard several people mention that the pads in the £65 "kit" aren't OEM - don't know if that's true or not...?

As for the £75 standard price for the Vx pads - that's from 2 different dealers - the one I paid £23 to, and my local who I phoned on a pretence of buying, just to get the TC price.

Thats correct, the kit does not use the same parts as what you get if you buy them seperately. I have used CPC a few times, some good bargins on there time to time.

Yup, tracked down the threads that state the pads in the pad/disk kit aren't Vx parts - it's Duncan whose been saying it... I would hazard a guess he's not confused...
