if all you have is the black strip then you will also have to change the rear quarter windows aswell as the strip is stuck onto the window they are really expensive from what i have heard so have a look on ebay for a complete set tbh i wouldnt have them i wish i didnt because in time they produce water marks underneath and lose colour and look ugly

did your car come with them or did you put them on yourself?

I thought you could get some sticky chrome effect stuff and just stick it over the black strip?

with mine being a gsi they come as standard the door ones pull off if im right then put the new ones in their place but as i said the windows are tricky.

never seen anyone use the sticky chrome but it could work

On ebay there is someone selling the chrome strip that you can just stick over the black ones, dont know what its like tho. Its from the same people i got my door handle covers from so if that is anything to go by, i assume it will be good quality. ill dig up the link

EDIT: Think this is the part

    EDIT2: Translated the ad says:
They offer here on a 4-teiliges set of high-grade steel chrome borders for window frameworks The borders are new and unused! ! ! Super optics and register accuracy. Simple assembly by tape on the back of the screens. suitably for OPEL VECTRA C Sedan Not for caravan (No Originalteil) The set consists of the following parts: 4 borders for the window frameworks
