    1. Yes. The BSR remap will be noticeably smother, much better driveability. The power from the box hits like a kick in the kidneys

    2. BSR - or any other remap, for that matter.

    3. Not really - your options are pretty much box vs remap. There's dozens of each to choose from, but the Caterman box and BSR PPC seem to be the most widely used and equally reliable.

One other thing... Depends how long you plan to keep the car - £500 is a lot to shell out if you don't plan to keep it for a while...

I had a caterman, then upgraded to BSR. Caterman is great, cheap as chips but I definitely felt an improvement with BSR.

It really does go like a rocket now - very akin to when I stuck a Tunit on my 330d beemer and A3 sport.

The BSR is a big leap in cash for sure, but as has been said - if you are keeping the car then I personally think its worth it.

I bought mine from LMF, but was told by BSR's UK distributor that they have 5% off (after I'd bought it )

That said, I got some other stuff from LMF that saved me a few quid - and it meant only one shipping charge

    Hope this helps

    BSR all the way.

Had mine now for 11 months. I've had it on and off the car many times and no issues to report after 20k miles.

BSR. Only had it for 6 weeks with BSR map. Drove it with BSR map for 3 weeks. Put it back to original map for a few days just to gauge the difference, then back to BSR and wow what a difference with BSR map. Smooth as some V8's that I had in past years.
