    Default Front Foggies

    hi guys,

ive been happy with mi veccy c for the past few years thought id out grown moddin but sein the mods on here has given me the bug again, so im doin a few bits to mi 1.8 pre facelift LS and got to thinking about fog lights ive seen the units in various places ebay and such like but there isnt realy a cut out on mi bumper so would it have to be a newie, also is the loom already waiting to b e wired up?? as mi lighting switch only has rear fogs at the mo (have seen one with both on ebay) any way if some one has done this mod or any pointers will be much appreciated. thnx

    there's AF's how-2 on the job..

your car won't have the loom in place, but as you can see Micky and Andybruv got round that no probs...one trap not to fall into is thinking that you can just wire up a 'fog button' in a replacement headlight switch...

follow the boy's instructions for a 100% sucess..

and no, you don't need a new bumper.. just the fogs and surrounds out of an elegance/early SXI...

here Vx actually do retro fit them to cars that dont have fog light (only thing that dont work on most of those cars is the light on dashboard when they are on), but they also probaly change the front loom together with the light switch.

if u wanted the SXI fogs u need to buy the triangle shaped fogs and the grills to go round them. These will fit on a standard bumper

But if you wanted to have the super duper SRI fancy foglights you need a new SRI Bumper and the round shaped foglights with grills to match

I would go for the latter new SRI Bumpers front and back with sri foglights and SRI sports exhaust

A BIT MORE MONEY BUT WELL WORTH IT IN THE END WHEN U PULL UP AT THE LIGHTS NEXT TO AN LS VECTRA keep a look out on ebay i done most of mine from ebay and saved ££££'s
