Default New Front & Rear Brakes

I did the front and rear brake upgrades yesterday with the help of my mate Mark, the fronts went on very easy and look great, but the rears were a pain I got the upgrade kit from LMF and could not fit the pad's!!!

desided to fit one of the old rear with one of the new pads I know not the best but did not want to grind them down.

Can I get new rear calipers that will fit the correct pads in? or are there different pads that I need to get. I got all of the brake pads and disks from LMF.

all vectra-c rear pads are the same size and style...

all that differs is the spring clips on them and the compound between OEM and aftermarket pads.

Did you retract the cylinder to make room for the new/thicker pad?

wasl ooking at doing this mod too. and have been told you have to sand new pads down if using the std calipers as proper ones are wider to allow for vented disc thickness.

how much did the rears set you back from lmf , if you dont mind me asking

The other option is use your part worn pads with the new discs, they should fit OK. The by the time the pads need changing, the discs will be worn enough that you can fit new pads in there...
