Swirl removing question

Ok, My car is fairly clean today after snow foaming/washing/waxing/ but I notice a few swirl marks in the paint i'd like to remove. My question is this, can swirl marks only really be removed by machine or is there a decent product which would do the trick by hand, without too much effort.

meguiars scratch x can remove them if they arent too bad, or autoglym super resin polish can remove some and mask the rest when worked right, there is also bilt hamber autobalm which is easy to use and will mask almost any swirl marks.

Machine is the only solution even with Vx soft paint. Mask them a bit with AG SRP if you want.

hi
i you can feel the swirls with your finger then they can not be removed.
if not then you can polish them out or use a polish with fillers.
meguires x swirl remover is good but hard work by hand.
ag super resin polish is full of fillers.
i use poorboys black hole glaze and thats full of fillers and hides loads of swirls.

The Auto Balm is a great product for hiding swirls, far ahead of SRP as I have both and have tried both. It's also an all in one product so it's a one step process and can be layered.

Have a good read up on how to apply it properly before you use it as it can be a pain if not done properly

Otherwise it's great stuff, works very well, has great durability and awesome protection against the elements.

Thanks guys. The swirls are minimal really as the car is 8 months old and not really abused by hand or car wash.
It cleans really well but not happy with the very very light swirling (by my standards).
Funny that I used to just jet wash and brush all my other cars until discovering vectra-c!!! Costing me a small fortune!

hi dont use a brush thats whats giving you swirls.

He says he "used" to use a jet wash and brush

Scratch-x and a good applicator pad would be a good start, AG SRP merely masks swirls, though it will leave a good looking if temporary finish. It will take a lot of elbow grease to get a swirl free finish but its definatey possible.
