    Default AFL

Anyone know what year AFL was introduced on the Vectra C? I've got headlamp level failure on my Xenons and Vauxhall need to know if my model has it or not for the replacement control unit. For reference I've got a 2003 GSi. Thanks in advance.

VX can work it out for themselves if they just use your Reg plate and /or VIN number.... did you get the teaboy?..

Which beds dealer is it?...as you're local...

in swift answer.. if you headlights TURN with the steering then you have AFL.. if the beams stay pointing straight ahead then you don't.. TBH i really doubt you will have AFL..

Yea, I was actually using Marshalls in Hitchin, Herts. I think they've got a new member of staff as normally they are very good lol. The lights have never moved when I turn the wheel. I wasn't too sure how noticeable it would be.

    Thanks!

OK, thanks for the info. Just out of interest would AFL have been an option when my vehicle was new?

You need to be moving though (over 10mph I think). They dont turn if the vehicle is stationary.

I think you'd know if you had it. When you turn the engine on in the dark with the lights on auto you can see the beam dip, then turn inward, then raise and level. They are also very noticeable when turning with the wheel when moving, particularly if you come to a stop behind a car with the wheels turned as the lights suddenly turn back to the front

Ok, cheers. 99.9% I haven't got AFL then. Wish I did now though, sounds very cool.
