Spent some time reading all previous threads on this apparently well known problem of clutch judder. I have same problem, been to the dealer who informed me that if it is found to be juddering on a test drive then I must pay up front for the removal of the parts for examination, the clutch is covered for 1500 miles, which is not a lot!!!They want two and a half hours labor charge before they will even start. Gave them the info from this fantastic site, claimed that they have not heard of this common problem. THEY HAVE NOT HAD ANY OTHER CARS IN EITHER!!!!Is it me? is everyone making it up? I have to say the dealership is the most frustrating to deal with,( Pentagon Derby) Aftrer the last service I discovered oil on my drive, opened the lid to discover oil all over the block, no doubt missed the hole and could not be arsed to wipe it off, they even lied about this.
Anyway does anyone know where I stand re the labor charges and warranty cover, my car is not yet two years old with 12,000 on the clock. Has anyone been successful of late re getting the clutch replaced?
