    Unhappy Vibration through car

I getting a Vibration through the whole car, its driving me mad, Do you think its a Wheel balance thing? I tried changeing the tyre pressure from eco mode down to standard and its excactly the same. the car is 9k and i only had it a month, I kinda thinking unbalanced wheel or tracking or maybe misa ligned tyre ?

It is not a rerally bad Vibration but i can feel it through the steering wheel a little and if i put my hand on the arm rest it a lot more prominent. Then if i take it up to 60, not only does the vibration get worse I get a little metally noise, dosnt quite sound like grinding.

Got the Service guy out in the car on Friday and he said he could feel it but he's not a vauxhall expert so I dropping it off tomorrow, said he will check over the wheels and tracking stuff and if he can't sort it he'll put it up to Vauxhall in Dundee for a warranty repair.

Been a brilliant car apart from this vibration and since i have had a vauxhall for years and none of the others done it , its doing me head in.

Any Chance it could be a loose bit of Fairing or something like that ?

I get a lot of vibration in my car as well. Mainly at about 40 miles an hour not a wobble on the steering wheel, but a vibration through the car.
Mine is an automatic and i wondered if this was to blame??
I have tried lowering my tire pressures but still seems to really lump about on even a smooth road.
Very strange really don't think it wheel balance though.

Vectras are very sensitive to wheel balancing. Probably that on such a new car, however it could be something else too.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

if it coming through the whole car it might be the rear wheels that need re-balancing and if its through the steering wheel then it the front wheels that will need re-balancing hth m8

    Default Wheel Wobble

I had a very bad wheel woble on mine. Definatly the wheel balancing. Its worth getting that checked, doesnt cost much, likely candidate for vibrations

So was it like i said not a serious vibratioin but there anyways ? difficult to place.

Arnold Clark did say they tested the wheels before they gave it to me as its obviously been up a kirb at some stage, as the is a wee nip in the tyre ( still legal and a scratch on the alloy. so this is why I saying whell balancing or tracking. Hopefully !!!

OOhh i could murder someone lol, just like my smooth ride, I aint no boy racer, even though its an SRi 1.8 VVT, I just a normal driver who like a soft seat.

Also m8 what tyre pressures you using? your a 1.8 aswell ?

If it's been kerbed hard enough the wheel could be buckled - that would give vibration...

Wheel wobble due to bad balancing usually only appears at certain speeds, not all the time.

Any chance you could swap that damaged alloy with a known good one just to test it?
