    Default Tuning chip

I fitted a tuning chip to my Signum on Friday evening, 3.0V6 turbo diesel auto, took all of 5 mins to fit so I'm very happy. Went for a drive today, same journey as every morning, same speed, same distance, so should be roughly the same,

Take a look at these pics of the fuel consumption now its been fitted

    Im gobsmacked

Looks good, 2nd trip much better fuel economy

Which Vs 3 VC is it?

    Euro 3 or Euro 4?

Also which tuning chip is it, where from, how much etc, if yours is going OK and is Euro 4, then I may consider getting one as well

Its a 2004 model 3.0 so its arounf 177bhp originally, should be around 220bhp now and it was also 370nm now its supposed to be 450nm

not sure how true it is, but it pulls a million times smoother, gets upto speed a whole lot quicker too.

forgot to say, this chip is a CR2 (stage 2 I think) he does cheaper CR1 chips too

the guy i bought it off was off Ebay under the name of http://stores.ebay.co.uk/diesel-tuner-systems

they can also be found at www.dieseltuner.co.uk

it should have been £290 but I made a cheeky offer of £250 and they accepted, only downside Ive had so far, was it took over 2 weeks ro arrive, but the lead to fit the 3.0 V6 is a special order item.

as I said the fitting couldnt have been any easier, the envelope took longer to open than the chip took to fit
