help needed

when driveing along with passeager window down getting a very loud metal sqealing/grinding noise from wheels i think?and when i brake at low speeds i get rubbing/grinding noise.all brake pads seem to have plenty of pad on them,could it be someting sticking

Get your wheel bearings checked if you are positive there is plenty of life left on the brake pads. And do not drive too fast or far till you get them checked.

I had a similar thing once after driving over some gravel. Turned out a stone got stick between the brake disc and dust shield.

been down to vauxhall today to check out the meatl grinding noise,takes the mantanice manager out for a spin.BREAKS HE SAID.not ****** rocket science,had a quick look at back dices.wheels not removed and said new pads and disics on the back

as easy as that then...

for some reason rears wear out quicker than fronts... just a quirk of vectra-c..
