    Default Cat sitting on bonnet

My bloomin cat has taken to using my bonnet as a lovely place to sunbath and is leaving ginger hairs and no doubt small scratches (non so far but inevitable) on my bonnet , the ginger little p!ss face thinks the bonnet scoop is a hair dryer or somthing, he never used to do it on my veccy ?!.

I cant chase him off because that will get his claws out and make a real mess , anyone got any ideas how i can stop him doing this?

    Cheers for any advice

    p.s before anyone says it - I dont have a gun so i can't shoot him !

Sprinkle some of those garlicky anti-cat pellets on the bonnet for a few nights. They'll just blow off each time you drive. He'll soon get the message.

Cats are cats, you should feel honoured that it's chosen your car to chill on, in winter they do it to get the heat off the engine, in summer as you say it's a giant hammock to them, an old neighbour used to have this large van cat with the bushy tail, and he would camp out wherever he wanted to and give you the look of daggers if you wanted to use his chosen pitch, you just gotta see the funny side of it, they are what they are, and that's what makes them such good value.

My neighbours cat use to do it to my car especially just after I had cleaned it and left muddy paw prints everywhere. I reversed the car on the drive way so he can't sunbath in the sun as the bonnet is in the shade. A few weeks of doing this and he found another car so no need to reverse park and touch wood he won't use my car again.
