Depends what look you're going for - you've said in other posts you want to keep the car fairly standard, so I would still go for black over red for that reason.

If you get pulled into the vortex of modifying (which I'm sure you will if you spend time on here

) you can always repaint them in a more striking colour...

Get some card and cut it to the rough shape of a caliper. Paint one side one colour with some cheap kids paint and the other side a different colour.

When they are dry stick them behind the wheel and then stand back to check each one. I borrowed Andy's cards which were Red, Black, Blue and yellow. (Two cards)

I was 100% certain I wanted black until I saw them behind the wheel.
