Crunching gears from 2nd to 4th

Hi All

I've got a 57 plate 1.9 CDTi 150. When block changing from 2nd to 4th the gearbox crunches/grinds nine time out of ten. It doesn't make much difference if I make slow changes either.

Is this just a case of the rubbish Vectra gearbox, or something more sinister?

Any advice appreciated.

sounds much more serious? get it to a dealer before you get damage to the gearbox teeth!!!

Check for one of these mate, on a Friday they work wonders but any other day they cause problems!!!
