Looks like a TVR to me. Although I don't believe it could return 70mpg. I do like it
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    def won't at 200mph
The Trident Iceni was tested at the Millbrook Proving Ground and at a constant speed of 70mph the team recorded an average mpg figure of 68.9.

And Trident recorded an astonishing 108mpg when testing at 30mph city driving, claiming the new Iceni can travel 2,000 miles on a single tank of diesel before refuelling.

The chassis is made from stainless steel and is guaranteed against corrosion for 100 years – meaning this supercar will never rust.

The new Trident Iceni is nearly production ready, and prices will start from £75,000 when it goes on sale.

    Yeah, very similar.

The Iceni diesel has been available since 2006 I believe, previously only in a 375 bhp/550 lb/ft version (raced at the British GT, I see from my searches).
This 950lb/ft one takes it to a whole new level though
Certainly not 70 mpg at 200 mph , I guess they are just stating what it can achieve - and if it does get 70 mpg when taking it easy, that's incredible. "Torque multiplication" is something I've not heard of before. 8 speed gearbox too
I also find this a bit hard to believe, but we'll see.

Even if it can do that mpg, how driveable would it be?

I don' think I'll be rushing out anytime soon to order one.

How driveable is any sports car? I'd take one for a spin!

Nobody's ever going to buy it as a daily driver, but I can see some people buying it for weekend use and being interested in the possibility of only filling it up once a year!

I really can't see a market for it. Yes, they may sell a few to an extremely small niche market, but that's going to be about it.

In all honesty, I don't see the point of this car, because the people who would consider buying it probably don't really care about fuel consumption and would have lots of other options.

Can't think of any other cars on the market with 950 lb/ft of torque, apart from the Bugatti Veyron.
The 70 mpg (reputed) appeals to me, because you can get good range with normal driving, yet incredible performance when you want it.
The older 375 bhp version does the 1/4 mile in 12 seconds, so it's obviously a formidable machine.
