    Default K&N induction kit

    HI
    Can anyone give me any advise, I an thinking about getting a K&N induction kit fitted to my 2.2 sri.Can anyone please tell me how much difference it makes as I notice quite a few members seem to have done this mod.Are there any installers in the bristol area.

    Difference? Not much IMO...just a nice sounding roar sound on the intake an maybe a few unnoticeable HP.

    If its an induction kit mate, then dont do it, you will actually lose power over standard. The 2.2 hates open induction kits as they suck up too much hot air. Your best bet and what everyone else is doing is to fit a K&N panel filter in your standard airbox. HTH

    Fitted this one to mine, Before i had felt the Engine was alot louder and turbo seemed to be loud under hard acceleration, but i have just had remap done i thought that was how it was going to be.Now i have K& N kit its by far quieter and seems effortless under hard acceleration
