Default Will They Fit Or Not?

Have these new wheels coming on Thursday and as per my previous thread there are question marks on if they will be ok or not, had been told by a friend at work they were fine.
They are 205/50 16's, the original wheels are 215/55 16's on an 05 plate 2.2 direct
    any one know for sure?

If you swap the tyres over it shouldn't be a problem, but the new tyre size will be badly smaller...

What SRi was it though? A 'B'? An Astra?

    'C' SRi's always had at least 17's....

I wouldn't personally go down the tyre sizes, I'd swap them over.

That'll be why then You need 205/55 or 215/55 on 16" wheels.
