    Default New wheels, good deal?

Have just bought 5 of these wheels in what looks like really good nick with good tyres Good Year NCT 5 (nearly new) for £170 (+ £32 pound to deliver to Norwich) 205/50/16.
There to go on a 05 plate 2.2 direct design which had scuffed originals which I didn't like, looked more like trims.
    Good buy or not?

Worth the money but for a 2.2 I would have looked for 18's with as least 225's on for better road holding with the power of the 2.2. 205's seem a bit small for a 2.2. Whats the load value on them because they may well have come from a Corsa. I also think they are too small in diameter as well for the Signum and will put your speedo well out. Most Vectras have 215/50/17's on.

Assuming these new wheels are ok to use (fingers crossed)
Do I sell my old wheels with or without the space saver spare as I will have 5 new ones.

Your new tyres are too small. they are smaller width ways and in diameter to your old ones. Whats the load index on your new ones as I think this may be incorrect for your car as well?

They're Astra G wheels (SXI). Not to sure if they're sufficient for the Vec though, i'm sure someone who is 'wheely' clever will tell you..

You dont sell them because the new ones are too small for your car.
Forgot to ask what was the width of the new alloys. You should find it stamped inside your new alloys. At the very least they should be 7J.

I have downloaded a vectra owners manual and I believe the z22se is the engine in my car and it then lists the follwing tyres in the tyre pressure chart
    Z 22 SE
    195/65 R 15 (M+ S),
    205/55 R 16
    215/55 R 16,
    215/50 R 17,
    225/45 R 17,
    225/45 R 18

    it does list a 205/55 r 16
I have got 205/50 r 16's not sure how much of a problem this will be?
