Default New Spring -30mm or new shocks and springs -30mm

    hi

ive now booked in with 888 to have Eibach springs fitted to my exclusice vectra. Cost is £220

    BUT

For an extra £400 can have Bilstein shocks done aswell?

    total was £670 i think

Is it worth getting the shocks done aswell? or would springs alone help handling?

Really id prefere to pay a member for help fitting

If you are having thoughts about changing suspension later then I would say get the whole lot done at once as you will need a geometry setup after which will cost > £50 (unless you know someone with a visual liner!!)

Springs will help handling however complimented with the right shock, the difference will be pretty cool

Thats not a bad fitted price on the Eibachs as they cost about £150 on their own.

I would go for the Eibach sports dampers to match and they should be a bit cheaper than the Bilsteins. Does the fitting cost for the springs/dampers include realignment because if it does its a bargin fitment and one that I would have gone for instead of me and a mate doing it.
Lois Griffin: Peter! You're bribing your daughter with a car?
Peter Griffin: Ah, c'mon, Lois, isn't 'bribe' just another word for 'love'?

That £670 was parts (shocks n springs) and labour, but he said they cant allign? ( i thinks strange?)
