    Default Blue Led Help Required!

    i have problems, i have soldered blue led's on my light box yesterday but only one bulb is working the one in the centre of the 3 in the middle, why is this please .............. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPP

    Maybe the one not working is broken. If you have a test/multi meter measure the bulb. It's best to do this before you solder them on just to make sure you are useing good parts.

    only 1 is working ten are not, bought them all from rs.

    Might be a daft question, but have you got them the right way around? LED's have a live and neutral side

    How are you measuring them ? They are a diode so i would use Resistance to check them.

    i swapped them the exact same way the old ones came off. so basically i desolded the orange ones and put the blue ones on in there place job done so i thought.

    if i had one the wrong way would it cause the whole lot not to work?

    you could have burned them out with the hot solder these led's dont like heat for too long
